Dr. Michael C. Payne from University of Cambridge has came to Tamkang University for a speech in title of First Principles Simulations of Grain Boundary Slidingand Dynamical Simulations of Metallic Systems on March 24, 1997. Dr.Michael C. Payne also meets with Prof. Horng-Jinh Chang vice president of the Academic Affairs and have received a book in introduction of Tamkang University. The CASTEP project is also included two professors from Tamkang University in department of Physic and Chemistry Prof. M.C Lee and Prof. G.C Lin. The project is planned to start on August '97.
