The 25 students from the Universidad Tecnoligica Centroamericana, Honduras, led by their Professor William Chong-Wong and Professor Maria Auxiliadora, attended the Closing Ceremony for the Summer Course of TQM on July 2, 2001. After two weeks, about sixty hours of hard study, all the students successful completed the TQM (Total Quality Management) course offered by Tamkang University. In the ceremony, Dr. Horng-jinh Chang presented the certificates to each one of those 25 outstanding students from UNITEC, and congratulated them on their satisfactory participation in the summer course of TQM. Together with Dr. Chao-kang Feng , Vice President for Academic Affairs and Chairman of International Exchange committee; Dr. Ou-Yang Liang-yu, Dean of College of Management; Dr. Lily Chen, Director of International Exchange & Education and other TKU Professors; Director Simon Hsing, Deputy Director Miguel Wang and other representatives from Central America Trade Office, attended this closing ceremony. The TQM summer course was planned and sponsored by the Office of International Exchange and Education and the Department of Business Management of Tamkang University. The preparation for this summer course was quite short, but they have tried every effort to conquer all the difficulties. Fortunately the course turns out to be very successful. Tamkang University intend to make it a successful example for the future cooperation with other sister universities.
