Dr. and Mrs. Andrei Marga, Former Minister of National Education , Romania, made a goodwill visit to Tamkang University (TKU) on October 21, 2005. In 1993-2004, Dr. Andrei Marga served as the Rector of the Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. (re-elected three times consecutively). In 1998-2000, he was the Minister of National Education. Currently, he is the President of Academic Council, Babes-Bolyai University since 2004. The distinguished guests first attended a briefing presided over by President Dr. Flora C.I. Chang and also engaged in a discussion with TKU faculty and Deans of Colleges. After the discussion, they visited Carrie Chang Fine Arts Center, and Chueh-sheng Memorial Library. At night, they attended the Luncheon hosted by Vice-President Feng at Sea View Restaurant.
