Dr. James R. Leutze, Chancellor of North Carolina at Wilmington, U.S.A., and Mrs. Margaret Gates Leutze, made a goodwill visit to Tamkang University on February 5, 2001. The distinguished guests first attended a briefing presided over by President Horng-jinh Chang, and also engaged in a discussion with TKU faculty and Deans of Colleges. After the discussion, Dr. and Mrs. James R. Leutze visited Maritime Museum and Chueh-sheng Memorial Library. At night, the guests attended the dinner party, hosted by Dr. Horng-jinh Chang.
