Prof. Piotr Weglenski, Rector of Warsaw University, Poland, made a goodwill visit to Tamkang University on February 23, 2004. Warsaw University, established in 1816, is the most famous and also considered as the most outstanding national university in Poland. Tamkang University signed the agreement with Warsaw University on TKU's celebration for 51st anniversary on November 8, 2001, and started to proceed the students exchange program since then. The distinguished guest first attended a briefing presided over by President Horng-jinh Chang, and also engaged in a discussion with TKU faculty and Deans of Colleges. After the discussion, Prof. Piotr Weglenski had a tour to Carrie Chang Fine Arts Center and Chueh-sheng Memorial Library. Then, he met Dr. Clement C. P. Chang, the Founder of Tamkang University. At noon, Prof. Piotr Weglenski attended the luncheon party hosted by Dr. Clement C. P. Chang.
