The Inauguration of the memorial mural is held to commemorate the long-standing relationship between the Republic of China and Central America already manifested in the significant forum of the Second Meeting of Heads of State and Government Between the Republic of China and the Countries of the Central American Isthmus last year. Tamkang University is well known for its prestigious undergraduate program of Spanish language and graduate Latin studies: The location of this memorial mural here in the Ching-Sheng Memorial Hall where students of these two distinguished programs pass by every day and international conferences held frequently is, we believe, the best choice and particularly meaningful as its stands as the best testimony of our comprehensive partnership.
