Prof. Meir Serfaty, Director of International Activities from Brandon University, Canada, made his good will visit to Tamkang University on December 24, 1999. Accompanied by Dr. Chao-kang Feng, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Chairman of International Exchange Committee, and Dr. Lily H.M. Chen, Director of International exchanges and International Education, the guest visited Dr. Horng-jinh Chang, President of Tamkang University and signed the agreement for the exchange of faculty and students between two universities. Then , he had a campus tour in Tamsui campus, including the Chueh-sheng Memorial Library, and the Maritime Museum. After the luncheon hosted by Dr. Flora C.I. Chang Vice President for Administrative Affairs, he attended the meeting presided over by Dr. Lin Chun Chung, Chair of the English Department and also engaged in a discussion with the students of the Department of English and other departments.
