Mr. Peter Baker, Bursar and Tutor for Admission of Hertford College, Oxford, made a goodwill visit to Tamkang University on June 13 and 14, 2000. On June 13, the distinguished guest attended a discussion with faculty and graduate students of the College of International Studies and the College of Foreign Languages and Literature. After the discussion, Mr. Peter Baker met with Dr. Lily Chen, Director of the Office of International Exchanges and International Education, to finalize the academic agreement between Hertford college and Tamkang University. The second day, June 14, the distinguished guest met with President Horng-jinh Chang and then had a campus tour, including Maritime Museum and Chueh-sheng Memorial Library. At evening, our guest attended the dinner party hosted by President Horng-jinh Chang.
