Prof. Guy Lavorel, President, and Prof. Gregory Lee, Director for Programs with Asia, Universite of Jean Moulin Lyon 3, made a goodwill visit to Tamkang University (TKU) on March 21, 2006. Universite Jean Moulin Lyon 3 enrolls approximately 22000 students in six different faculties or departments. These six faculties are: 1) Law School 2) Business School 3) Faculty of Language 4) Faculty of Humanities 5) Faculty of Philosophy 6) The Institute of Technology. Lyon 3 has over 350 international agreements with universities in more than 60 countries. Universite Jean Moulin Lyon 3 and Tamkang University signed an academic agreement in November 2000. The two universities began to exchange students since the following years. From 2004, the two universities implemented the dual-degree exchange program at Master degree level. Till now, each university has one graduate who obtained dual Master degree from both universities through this exchange program. On May 2, 2005, Dr. Flora C.I. Chang, President of TKU, led the delegation to visit Universite Jean Moulin Lyon 3. The exchange activities between the two universities are quite frequent and active. The distinguished guests first attended a discussion hosted by President Dr. Flora C.I. Chang. After the discussion, they visited Carrie Chang Fine Arts Center and Chueh-sheng Memorial Library. Prof. Gregory Lee also had interviews with Master students of the Department of French who plan to apply the dual-degree exchange program at Universite Jean Moulin Lyon 3. At night, they attended the dinner hosted by Dr. Flora Chang, President, at Hotel Regalees.
