On May 4, 2007 President Dr. Flora C.I. Chang lead the delegation to visit Francisco State University (SFSU), and was cordially received by SFSU. After through discussion and exchange of thoughts on globalization, both SFSU and Tamkang University were highly interested in signing cooperation agreement in order to enhance the academic exchange and cooperation between the two universities. During the visit to Taiwan, President Corrigan paid a goodwill visit to TKU and signed the academic cooperation agreement in the afternoon of June 8, 2007.. San Francisco State University, founded in 1899, consists of eight colleges, including behavioral and social science, business, creative arts, education, ethnic studies, health and human services, humanities, science and engineering. SFSU has 23,074 undergraduate students and 5,876 graduate students. SFSU enrolls many international students representing 94 countries, which makes the university suitable for TKU student, especially for Lanyang campus students from College of Entrepreneurial Development and College of Global Research and Development. In addition, SFSU is famous for the academic fields in business, mass communication, cinema, and travel study. After the academic exchange agreement signing ceremony and campus tour, the distinguished guests attended the dinner banquet hosted by Dr. Flora Chang, President, at Chueh-sheng International Conference Hall.
