Sir Walter Bodmer, Principal of Hertford College, Oxford University, UK, visited Tamkang University on January 13 and 14, 2003. First day, the distinguished guest Sir Walter Bodmer met Dr. Clement C. P. Chang, founder of TKU, and attended a briefing presided over by President Horhg-jinh Chang. At noon, he attended a luncheon party hosted by the Founder. After lunch, he gave a lecture on " Genetics of Colorectal Cancer" at Chemistry Building to the faculty and students of Tamkang University. Second day, Sir Walter Bodmer attended a discussion on "Biotechnology Development in UK and its Collaborative Opportunity with Asia" in the morning, and a meeting on "The Program of Exchange and Cooperation between Hertford College and TKU" in the afternoon.
